Was Putin Behind Critic’s Death

British police believe foul play cannot be completely ruled out in the death of Russian oligarch Boris Berezovsky, whose body was found with a piece of material around his neck. Berezovsky, a vocal critic of President Vladimir Putin, was found dead in a luxury mansion in Ascot, an affluent town west of London.

Russian Volcano Erupts

A volcanic eruption in Russia’s far eastern Kamchatka Peninsula has produced stunning images of lava flows oozing through a snowy wilderness. The Plosky Tolbachik volcano started erupting in November after being dormant for more than 30 years. It’s unclear how long the eruption will last. The volcano last erupted was in 1976.

The Meteorite Threat

The meteorite that struck in Russia’s Urals wreaked havoc as its exploded. This RT video shows the tremendous hole in Chebarkul Lake made by meteorite debris.

Meanwhile, Asha Tanna, science reporter for Channel 4 in Great Britain, outlines the threats posed by asteroids and meteors should they rain down into the Earth’s atmosphere.
