The Shooters

A recent Esquire Magazine piece shed light on the shabby treatment that the Osama bin Laden shooter has received since he left the service. Bill Whittle knows the shooter – not personally. But he knows men like him. Soldiers who wake up every day and fight the most evil men on the planet. He talks about these men on Afterburner.

Bin Laden Photos Discovered

The CIA has found seven previously unknown photographs of Osama bin Laden’s body after a freedom of information request from a government watchdog group. The discovery has sparked criticism of the agency, and raised questions about what else the CIA might have buried under the couch.

Stalking Osama bin Laden

Here’s a video based on a series of interviews with the Navy SEAL who killed Osama bin Laden. To protect his identity, his real voice isn’t being used. Phil Bronstein, executive chairman of the board of the Center for Investigative Reporting, conducted the interviews. Bronstein also wrote an accompanying magazine piece that appears in the March issue of Esquire.

Blaming Bush Redux

This just in…President Obama has won re-election. “So let four more years of blaming President Bush begin,” says Jodi Miller. She also addresses New York’s bluenosed Mayor Mike Bloomberg and the Democrats’ favorite dead voter, Osama bin Laden, in this edition of NewsBusted.

Nat Geo In Denial Mode

This just in…National Geographic Channel denies that its broadcast of Seal Team Six: The Raid on Osama Bin Laden just two days before the election is motivated to help Obama. “They’re right,” says Julia Lillis. “It’s motivated to hurt Romney.” Also learn about Pennsylvania’s voter ID laws, Iran’s collapsing currency and California’s sky-high gas prices in this edition of NewsBusted.

Nat Geo Donates to Obama

Two days before the Nov. 6 election, the National Geographic Channel will broadcast Seal Team Six: The Raid on Osama Bin Laden. How coincidental that this world premiere will fall so close to the election, seeing as how the events depicted occurred a year and a half ago. Rest assured, it has nothing at all to do with the fact that the film comes from The Weinstein Company, under the helm of Harvey Weinstein, a major Obama donor, who hosted a $35,800-per-person fund-raiser for the president on Aug. 6, attended by Anne Hathaway, Aaron Sorkin, Anna Wintour and other celebrities. ¬†As Dorothy was admonished in The Wizard of Oz, “Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain.”
