Obama: The Green Meanie

President Obama continues his misguided campaign to wipe out the coal industry. With the economy barely growing and his record of job creation ranking among the worst in modern times, Obama still can’t seem to focus his energies on shoring up the anemic economy or boosting the prospects for job-seekers. Instead, he’s chosen to kowtow to his left flank, pushing more government regulation and introducing ever wilder green energy boondoggles. None of this is shocking anymore, coming from an aloof and arrogant, tone-deaf Administration. H/T Wall Street Journal

The Greening of the Planet

Matt Ridley, author of The Red Queen, Genome, The Rational Optimist and other books, dropped by Reason’s studio in Los Angeles to talk about a curious global trend that is just starting to receive attention. Over the past three decades, our planet has gotten greener!

Even stranger, the greening of the planet in recent decades appears to be happening because of, not despite, our reliance on fossil fuels. While environmentalists often talk about how CO2 causes bad things to happen like global warming, it turns out that the plants aren’t complaining.

China’s Most Polluted City

As Beijing residents are told to limit time outside because of pollution, some of the 10 million residents in Shinjiazhuang, China’s most polluted city, who are forced to wear masks every day, are starting to fight back. Great Britain’s Channel 4 Asia Correspondent John Sparks reports.

Fracking Is the Answer

Don’t fall for the green/Hollywood propaganda, as pedaled in The Promised Land, the Matt Damon environmental screed shamelessly financed by Middle Eastern oil interests. As pundit Dick Morris explains, fracking is a perfectly sound and viable solution to the America’s energy needs.

He’s Got the Cat Scratch Fever

Unemployment Rising Again

Let’s get started…America’s unemployment went up to 7.8 percent last month. “Which can only mean one thing,” says ┬áJodi Miller. “The election’s over.” In this episode of NewsBusted, Miller also touches on a New Hampshire lawmaker who wants to ban conservatives and growing evidence that fracking is environmentally safe, never mind the protestations of Matt Damon and the usual assortment of leftist Hollywood dingbats.

Christmas or Earth Day?

Revealing Politics’ Caleb Bonham hit the streets to talk with his fellow man in this Christmas-themed double-feature.

Revealing Politics was curious how far some people think our government should go to regulate carbon emissions during this busy shopping season. “Should the government regulate Christmas to save the environment? ” and “What is more important, Christmas or Earth Day?”
