Images are Solid Lead on Crash

The Chinese government released satellite images that appear to be wreckage from Malaysian Airlines Flight MH370. The jumbo 777 vanished mysteriously on a routine flight from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing with 239 passengers aboard. Chinese officials discovered the images–believed to be the best solid lead on the disappearance–a day following the mishap, but declined to elaborate why they held onto to them until midweek. CNN’s Tom Foreman gives a virtual explanation of how the images could very well be missing debris from the plane.

The Widening IRS Scandal

The IRS not only singled out grassroots Tea Party organizations, but also a wide swatch of conservative groups, including some with ties to Israel and others advocating the sanctity of the US Constitution. Perhaps instead of scrutinizing these groups, IRS agents should go back and re-read the Bill of Rights and Constitution. The specter of a federal agency running roughshod over American principles and laws is simply intolerable. Heads should roll at this all-powerful, but wantonly reckless agency. CNN reports

Al-Qaeda Linked to Benghazi

Several Yemeni men belonging to al-Qaeda took part in the terrorist attack on the U.S. diplomatic compound in Benghazi last September, according to several sources who have spoken with CNN. One senior U.S. law enforcement official told CNN that “three or four members of al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula,” or AQAP, took part in the attack.

Oh, Er, Islamic…Terrorists

CNN’s Candy Crowley on Sunday started to say that deceased Boston bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev had posted “Islamic videos” online before apologizing and calling them “terrorist videos.” “We know that both the CIA and the FBI were told by Russia, their counterparts, ‘You got to look at this guy, we think he’s been radicalized. We think he’s a terrorist,’” the State of the Union host told panelists. “Then we have the fact that up came these, at some point after a trip to Russia and before it, up came Islamic videos — or, I’m sorry, terrorist videos on his website. … At least one department, Homeland Security I believe, knew he’d either come or gone to Russia. And he’s putting up, you know, in praise of terrorism. Why in the world didn’t anybody think, oh, wait, this is a danger sign?”

This Debate’s Gone to the Dogs

This just in…Former President George Bush’s dog Barney died last week. “Liberals say Barney would have been saved if Obamacare had been fully implemented,” says Jodi Miller. “However, some conservatives are blaming the Clintons.” In this edition of NewsBusted,  Miller also touches on Chuck Hagel’s disastrous Congressional hearing, Leon Panetta’s decision to allow women in combat, and RuPaul defeating CNN’s Piers Morgan in the TV rating battle.

President Auto-Pen

Rudy Schools Piers Morgan

MSNBC Jumping the Shark

Expect a complete meltdown on MSNBC on election night if Mitt Romney defeats Barack Obama for the presidency. Already, pundit Chris Matthews is accusing the nation of racism, while a young girl supporting Romney was openly jeered on another MSNBC show. CNN isn’t much better, trying to undermine both the US Navy and the Romney campaign. Stephen Kruiser points out the growing incidents of media derangement syndrome is this edition of Kruiser Control.
