Egyptian Constitution Belly Flop
The new Egyptian constitution imposing Sharia law continues to arouse the ire of democratic-minded reformers. After leading an Egyptian blogger and two Femen cohorts to strip outside the Egyptian embassy in Sweden (see post titled “Nude Protest Greets Egyptians”), the constitution has now inspired a belly dancer to pen a satirical ditty bemoaning the lack of women’s rights under the new Morsi government.
